Code Rush – The Movie

This is interesting (for me at least):

Code Rush is a PBS documentary recorded at Netscape from 1998 – 1999, focusing on the open sourcing of the Netscape code. As the documentary makes painfully clear, this wasn’t an act of strategy so much as an act of desperation. That’s what happens when the company behind the world’s most ubiquitous operating system decides a web browser should be a standard part of the operating system.

Watch it and meditate on why you do shit :)

Drink beer or else :)

So if you ever wanted to give a guy a beer (or any alcoholic beverage for that matter) and you avoided because of some technicality such as the geographical distance then fear no more. This will help you give that beer ( to me ) or to someone else :) .

A idea by necenzurat.net ( i helped him just a little ).

About science and flowers

People sometimes will tell me that I try too hard to rationalize things around me. One thing that I get from time to time is the fact that by trying to see how something works I  somehow break the “magic” or the “beauty” of said thing. Sometimes I try to explain how things actually are but most of the time I choose to let it go because in the grand scheme of things is not that important how others think about you. Another reason is probably my inability to properly explain this combined with a perceived lack of disposition to listen on the other party.

But there is some good news. Mr. Richard Feynman was able to explain this way better than I probably could. And I found the video to prove it. Enjoy it below:

Found it via an article about TED-X Caltech conference.
